The Environment Agency has officially released the first of two stages of the ESOS compliance reporting system. (MESOS)

The first stage went live on March 19th, 2024. In this initial stage, participants can register their businesses and any third-party lead assessors to aid in the compliance notification process.

During stage two, which is due to go live within the second half of April 24', participants who are now registered will be able to begin uploading the required compliance data.

Important ESOS Phase 3 Dates:

- March 19th: ESOS Compliance Portal launched for registration.
- Late April: ESOS Compliance Portal launched for relevant data uploading.
- June 5th: Deadline for all participants to be registered.

Registration must be completed on or before the 5th June to avoid enforcement action from the environment agency.
