Are you part of the mining, quarrying, manufacturing, recycling or data centre sectors?
Industrial processes account for 16% of UK emissions, this needs to be reduced by about 90% for the UK to become Net Zero by the 2050 target.
Phase two of the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IEFT) is now open for new applications to help reduce your consumption and emissions.
IEFT is a government fund from the Department for Business Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Applications for the Energy Efficiency (EE) and Deep Decarbonisation (DD) project schemes within IEFT are likely to be of particular interest to our clients.
The EE and DD schemes are both providing substantial funding for onsite deployment of technologies to improve the energy efficiency or reduce emissions (respectively) from industrial processes. Funding can be put towards the costs of installing or retrofitting equipment onsite with additional uplifts available for sites in A and C assisted areas of the UK.
Application windows for IEFT Phase two can be seen in the table below. If you’re considering applying, make sure to apply in the earliest window possible for the best chance of securing funding.
Check your eligibility and see full guidance for the fund on the links below. If you’re looking to use IEFT and want a full sustainability strategy created check out our sustainability page or book a call with us to discuss further.
