Olympus Print Group, specialists in self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves and large format digital print are continually developing new and advanced techniques and products and investing in new technologies to remain competitive and compliant.

The Group have a key focus on improved speeds and waste reduction, environmentally friendly products, and schemes such as ‘Zero to Landfill’ on any new machinery purchased.

Carbon footprint report

With environmental management being a key focus for the Group, an ISO 14001 energy audit needed to be conducted at their site in West Yorkshire. To support this, a carbon footprint report needed creating prior to the audit start.

Brownlow Utilities, the Group’s energy and sustainability partner were eager to assist gathering energy consumption data through their bespoke, online system together with the necessary transport & waste data from Olympus Print Group. Brownlow were able to determine the Group’s carbon footprint and establish realistic carbon targets.

A comprehensive carbon footprint report was created, highlighting areas in which Olympus Print Group could reduce their carbon footprint over the next 3 years. The report was completed in time for the ISO 14001 audit and available to the auditors.
