Shaun, founder of Brownlow Utilities, has been a key player in the energy market since 1990. Starting at Norweb, he managed £1.5 billion in energy sales. In 2000, he co-founded Utility Masters, growing it into a top UK consultancy before selling it in 2010.

Shaun founded Brownlow Utilities in 2013, leading a 30-employee team in energy and sustainability solutions, and continues to provide strategic support while maintaining key client relationships.

Lee brings 25 years of experience in the energy industry, leading and growing teams globally. He excels in change management and strategic planning for organic growth.

He shares his extensive knowledge of sustainability, aiding businesses of all sizes across the UK, Europe, and Asia Pacific in carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and ESG criteria. As an inclusive leader, Lee achieves results and ensures the entire team shares in the success and culture of the business.

Laurence, Head of Account Management, brings extensive knowledge in sustainability, engineering, and consultancy. With experience in renewable energy, CHP, and on-site generation, Laurence has managed multi-site retail, large manufacturing, and blue-chip organisations.

Qualified in Engineering and Business Sustainability Management, he helps Brownlow’s clients achieve net-zero goals while remaining competitive and compliant.

With over 25 years of sales and marketing experience and a first-class degree in engineering and economics, Amanda has worked for a number of leading renewable and heating solution providers. Her deep energy market knowledge enables her to present Brownlow’s various services in a simple, value-driven way. Amanda’s passion and communication skills highlight Brownlow’s transparent, client-focused approach, underpins the Brownlow ethos as “The utility specialist you can trust”.

Iain brings over 20 years of experience in energy engineering, management, and assessment to Brownlow. Before joining the team, he held senior-level roles across various sectors, managing projects in energy reduction, Net Zero strategies, and ESOS audits.

As Head of Sustainability and a qualified lead assessor, Iain assists UK businesses with ESOS compliance and energy-saving initiatives for their Net Zero strategy.

Dave has over 16 years of energy industry and IT expertise. He has managed sub-metering installations for over 100 clients as well as the writing several bespoke aM&T systems over the years.  Along side these systems he has been instrumental in developing other innovative systems, including CRMs and sustainability reporting on a multi-national level. A key aspect of his role is the centralisation of these systems for efficiency and IT asset maintenance. Dave enhances IT systems, infrastructure, and processes to improve client service and delivery.

Adam has a proven track record of delivering process and policy improvements within the open water market. With over 13 years of experience at United Utilities in various customer-facing and operational roles, Adam is a recognised expert in commercial water billing, specialising in property drainage.

Adam’s understanding of the UK water industry is second to none. This allows Brownlow to provide a full water service portfolio across supply, drainage, efficiencies and procurement whilst ensuring exceptional customer service in collaboration with water retailers.

Adam has over 15 years’ experience in the energy industry and a 20-year career in procurement, specialising in supporting Public Sector organisations.

He spent 10 years managing the energy category at one of the UK’s largest public buying organisations, overseeing gas, electricity and water tenders, followed by five years in energy consultancy.

Adam has worked with Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations and education providers. An MCIPS-qualified professional, he helps clients secure compliant energy contracts while improving cost efficiency and sustainability.
