Brownlow Utilities delivered a total saving of £93,000 per annum across the two sites for Roxor Group.

Roxor Group is a leading UK bathroom manufacturer and distributor with over 35 years of experience supplying many of the industry’s best-known brands. As one of the fastest-growing suppliers of bathroom products in the UK, Roxor Group is recognised for its heritage of innovation, strong market knowledge, and commitment to delivering quality products at the right price.
At the core of Roxor Group’s philosophy is a commitment to building long-term customer relationships through a deep understanding of needs and consistent delivery.
Roxor Group faced a significant risk of rising energy costs from April 2026 due to changes in Transmission Network Use of System standing charges. With TNUoS costs increasingly driven by agreed supply capacity, the business faced substantial increases in non-commodity charges across its energy portfolio.
To mitigate future cost exposure, Roxor Group needed to assess whether contracted capacity levels remained appropriate across its sites and whether reductions could be made without impacting operational performance.
Brownlow Utilities carried out a detailed bill audit and capacity analysis, reviewing agreed supply capacity and historical demand across Roxor Group’s portfolio.
The analysis identified opportunities to reduce contracted kVA levels at two sites while maintaining operational resilience. Brownlow Utilities clearly modelled the financial impact of each reduction and held follow-up calls with the customer to explain the findings, validate assumptions, and confirm achievable savings.
At Site One, agreed capacity was reduced from 1,400 kVA to 421 kVA, moving from Band 3 to Band 1. At Site Two, capacity was reduced from 200 kVA to 75 kVA.
By implementing kVA reductions, Roxor Group avoided significant exposure to rising TNUoS standing charges. The changes delivered a total saving of £93,000 per annum across the two sites.
In addition to the immediate financial benefit, Roxor Group gained improved visibility of capacity requirements, greater control over non-commodity energy costs, and long-term protection against future network charge increases.
