Transparent Energy Procurement for Regency Glass.

Regency Glass Ltd was established in 1983, and since then, they have been recognised for their excellence in quality and service within the glass industry. With their advanced facilities, they cater to both domestic and commercial clients, making them the leading provider of processed glass in the UK.

Problem

Regency Glass’s previous utility supplier planned to introduce a price increase in the middle of their existing energy contracts. Regency Glass objected to this, and negotiations with the utility supplier could not bring about a solution that would prevent the increase from going ahead. Frustrated and seeking a more effective solution, they approached Brownlow for assistance.

Solution

Brownlow worked closely with the client to understand their concerns and their wider business goals, to develop a comprehensive plan to address their energy challenges. In response, Brownlow presented a long-term, tailored, flexible procurement strategy to address current and future price fluctuations and the energy portfolio as a whole. Regency Glass confidently agreed to Brownlow’s proposal in addition to an extensive historical bill audit to identify any further savings that could be made.

Benefit

Regency Glass was able to reap several benefits from a procurement strategy that was specifically tailored to their needs. It fundamentally allowed them to gain greater control over their purchasing options within the energy market, positively affecting their energy costs.

As Regency Glass belong to an industry using energy-intensive processes, improvements in the purchase and management of their gas and electricity portfolios were welcomed, protecting the business from market volatility whilst delivering substantial cost savings at the same time. In addition, Brownlow was able to reduce Regency Glass TCR Charges, resulting in additional savings of over £6,000 following an in-depth historical bill audit.

As part of the ongoing account management, Regency Glass receives regular updates on their energy market position, meaning they won’t be blindsided by any sudden changes in the volatile, global energy market.

They can rest assured in the knowledge that their energy costs are in safe hands with Brownlow.

“Our Company was referred to Brownlow through a reputable source and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the services they have provided for us. During a difficult time for many businesses, their dedicated, professional, and trustworthy team has helped us to thrive. We have gained so much knowledge by just simply talking to them. Thank you, Brownlow!”
